Sahaba Poem No1 - Abu Bakr رضي الله عنه

He was the first amongst us

Of even whom Ali (ر) was jealous

The closest companion, so sublime

In the desert journey, a torrid time

None were more charitable

Nor were they as able

The freer of slaves

Oh, so much he gave

A personality so meek

But he was far from weak

Relentless with each pillar

Merciless apostate killer

One of the ten promised paradise

Beloved to the prophet ṣallallāhu 'alayhi wa sallam (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) full of advice

By his side in Uhud & Badr

His name of course, is Abu Bakr
