The Unnoticed Blessings

If you're capable of reading this
Then let it be known, you live in bliss
Almost half of the world can not read
So blessed we are, by God indeed!

Do you have food in your fridge & a nice warm bed?
Clothes on your back, with a roof over your head?
You are in the richest twenty five percent
Do you thank God for the favours you are sent

Strange to you are the dangers of battle and war
The agony of prison, torture and more
The horrible, stabbing pangs of starvation
Say Alhamdulilah that for you these are fiction

If you woke up this morning not feeling ill
Let me tell you right now, there's a million who will
They'll get worse with time & won't survive the week
Think about your blessings before you speak
